Thanks for taking an interest in my bid for City Council

I am not a traditional candidate. In fact, this is the first time I am running for office. However, I have been serving the needs of this community for many years. My work to make our streets safer, our schools stronger and our community more vibrant is a testament to my dedication to District 21.

If elected, I will work hard in the City Council to serve our neighborhoods, fight for resources for our community and help to improve the lives of all New Yorkers. I want District 21 to be a welcoming place for visitors, a vibrant community for residents and a thriving location for its businesses and organizations.

The most notable images in our skyline are the air traffic control tower of LaGuardia Airport, the Unisphere of Flushing Meadows and, off in the distance, the Empire State Building. Home really is the great neighborhoods of Corona, East Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst and LeFrak City. I will work hard in the City Council to pursue a progressive agenda, protect the rights of our most vulnerable citizens and keep our economy growing and strong. I also want District 21 to welcoming place for all our residents, including our immigrant communities as well as for those who come for our food, our airport and our other major venues.
